Every element of this guitar remains original (all-original). The guitar comes accompanied by its rare, original Gibson case. Included in the package is the original bridge tail, stored safely in the case, alongside the current bridge tail. SOLID-BODY
Beautifully contoured body made from solid Honduran mahogany. Solid-Body constructions deliver instant response, a lot of attack and sustain and perfect feedback resistance.
Mahogany is a popular tone-wood known for its punchy growl with excellent sustain, generally favored for rock, blues, and guitar-driven music.
PICKUPS
Fitted with a single “golden era” vintage 1960’s Gibson P90 pickup in the bridge position. Being a single-coil based design, a P90 pickup is somewhat brighter than a humbucker, though not quite as crisp and snappy as Fender's single-coil pickups.
